Brewery description

Bolten Brauerei in Korschenbroich, near Mönchengladbach, is often cited as the world’s oldest altbier brewery, with roots reaching back to 1266. The family-run brewery produces copper-hued altbier, seasonal specialties and regional classics using traditional top fermentation. Its historic courtyard, brewery shop and tours make it a landmark of Lower Rhine beer culture and hospitality to visitors.
