Brewery description
West End Brewery was a landmark of Adelaide brewing, operating on the banks of the River Torrens at Thebarton for more than a century. Best known for West End Draught and its illuminated Christmas Riverbank display, it became woven into South Australian pub culture, sport sponsorships and working-class identity. Though brewing ceased in 2021, its red-brick site remains a potent local memory today
